After Critique

This web art maps my emotional changes during my final critique. As my school curriculum required, I had to present my works every semester in front of six faculty members. Since I regard my art works as a second self (altar ego), when critique panels said something positive or negative about my work, it made me feel confident or timid. After documenting the panel's comments, I rewrote them the way I felt in this site. If the panel told me “my work wasn’t good enough”, in this site, “I wasn’t good enough”. The site encourages people to interact with the thickness of the letter ‘I’ symbolizing my ego. Whenever a user clicks on negative comments, the ‘I’ gets thinner, while clicking on positive comments make ‘I’ thicker.
